The tree had absolutely no twigs or buds when I collected it and now the whole tree is packed with new shoots. I will let them grow freely this year to help it produse new roots and in the autumn I will select the branches to keep, and remove the rest. And then I will give them an initial wiring if they have grown enough during the summer. It will take many years before this tree is anything to talk about but I think it has good potential.
