Making a wheel thrown pot

I thought I should make a photo serie of making a custom bonsai pot.
The pot is for a scots pine. I started out with about 8 kg of stoneware clay. After kneading the lump I smash the thing on the bat to make it stick. Then I start the centering bit. This is hard work and it takes quite a while and a lot of practice to get it right.
When the centering is done I move over to pulling out the lump. After that I pull up the walls and do the final shaping. I will let this pot dry for a while before adding slip and final shaping. I will post updates as the work progresses.
The size of the pot is 39 X 11 cm.
Hope you will enjoy.
