This is how far I'm going to go this time. You can't work to much at once on a spruce. They are quite sensitive trees. Now it will rest for a years time. Next august I will either repot it or do some more wiring of the smaller branches. The wire I put on the primary branches will have to stay on for at least 2 -3years before the branches stay in their new positions by them self.
The tree needs more foliage in the apex, but that will fill in in a couple of years. In time I will shorten the long branches, but I will leave them for now to let the tree produse more energy.
The tree is now one step further down the road to becomming a bonsai!
